Do you mean because your EVA is damaged? Buy some from the PM and repair it. Then you should be able to unequip the vehicle from your specials. If you can't afford them (or there aren't any for sale), I can ship a few to you to get you by (just give me a drop off point in the sphere somewhere).

I would rather make it myself.

The PVRK schems are in the Wals stores, however they are significant builds and require several
modules (those schems can be obtained from Coopers/Arnos stores. )
If you only need a couple to repair your ECO, buy them off a crafter or PM.

You also find all of the PVRK schematics while exploring, so it's possible (and quite likely) you already have a few. I found all the schematics for PVRKs without having to buy them. You should check your schematics and see what you've got already. Otherwise, yeah, most of it is sold at Wals schematic stores. Just follow the module tree carefully, there's a lot of them.

Minor word of warning, they're a pain in the neck to actually craft, with the types and quantities of resources you need.

and another opportunity is to get some repair kits from the CE-shop. I have a few, so for the right offer i could possible sell one or two.

Can't find this schematic and on the PM it's a rather expensive 1.5m credits. Not good.

Is there a planetary system which you can find this schematic? I have looked on a couple of Tech level 12 planets but no joy.

The CEDR is your friend - it tells you where can you buy stuff too. Plus "someone" already mentioned it in this thread, the schematics for atlases are sold at the same shop as the vehicle schematics - Wals ATV Designs.
Keep in mind the first one costs 3 millions, and thats just the one schematic alone.

Sorry, I'd never heard of Wals ATV Designs until now. I was looking in Waldos thinking 'Wals' was short for that.
I use the CEDR but "player made" doesn't tell you where to get the schematics.
Some of the other bits are at different schematic shops...
Tire Repair PVKA-1 is at Arnos it would appear.
    Tire Patcher is at Coopers.
And I am finding the WIKI is out of date!

Ill just add for the record - if an item in CEDR says player made go to the schematic subsection for the items schematic, and the modules subsection for the subcomponent schematics. It says which schematic store sells them.

Still think it's wrong that this 'need of repair' landing module stops me swapping ships.

I think it might be to prevent an exploit of some kind but, I admit, I've never been really sure why it's set up like that. just make sure you're stocked up on 5 or 10 repair kits before you do any exploration.

Yes, always have repair kits with you, while exploring. If the ECO get´s to 0 it´s gone...

I do exploring a lot. It gives very good XP at a high cost.
1 million cr worth of repairs daily can be what you have to spend if you are unlucky, 2 million a week if you are lucky.

Apart from the great XP points, the other benefit of exploring is it uses little fuel.

Yes, it's fuel efficient- much like derelict exploration. I've been doing a lot of derelict exploration lately, since I've managed to build a small cargo sled and an electrical scanner. Having a few tools increases the fun and profit from exploring exponentially (I'm occupied with trying to collect a whole set myself, right now), so if you don't have any yet, you should start gathering the components to build them. It really does pay off. :)
